Landscape Designer - Wilson Design Studio
Description: Wilson Design Studio is a small but growing office with a long and successful local track record of consulting with a variety of clients and projects. We bring a true passion for design and a vision to add value to our communities through each project we work on. Regardless of the project type, we remain collaborative problem solvers at our core. We are looking for a talented, team-oriented designer to help build our growing design & production team. Primary job duties will include production of landscape construction documents, but will expend depending on capabilities.
Skills Required: 0-2 years of experience in a landscape architectural office setting is preferred, but we are open to other levels of experience. Applicants should be confident and independent problem solvers who enjoy working in a team environment. Technical skills should include: AutoCAD, Adobe & Microsoft Suites, SketchUp, and excellent hand drawing, rendering and drafting capabilities.
Education Requirements: Undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University.

Associate Landscape Architect and CAD Technician Positions
Job Description – MDG is looking for a professional, self-motivated employee for a full-time position. Work in a collaborative studio environment that encourages professional growth. Draft and/or manage the production of landscape architectural plans using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D programs and hand drafting techniques.
Experience at a landscape architecture firm preferred, including; landscape design; municipal parks and recreation, residential and commercial sites; grading, planting and irrigation; basic understanding of construction methods, plans and estimating cost of construction.
MDG staff have unique opportunities to provide services in visioning; master planning, community design, park and recreation design, commercial design, environmental assessment, agritourism and wineries, and landscape restoration and rehabilitation. Current project locations range from municipal parks in Sacramento, wineries in Napa to commercial development in Truckee.
