Registering for the LARE can be a confusing process!
Let’s walk through how to navigate creating a CLARB record and getting approved by the LATC.
We have physical textbooks available for members to check out and study from! Take a look at our catalogue of available books and let us know which one you’d like to rent.
Limit 2 textbooks per checkout. Must return books within 3 weeks of receiving.

Request a Free LAREPrep Practice Exam
If you are a member of the Sierra Chapter, and you are currently registered to take a section of the LARE, we will happily provide you with one (1) free LAREPrep practice exam for the section you are taking each testing period. You must provide us proof of your test registration.
If you are taking multiple sections during one testing period, we will purchase you a practice exam for both of those sections, provided you send us proof that you are registered for both.

Please feel free to peruse the materials we’ve compiled! Many of these are per the pre-2023 blueprint change, and as such are organized in the old blueprint’s manner. However, the information is all still very relevant! You may need to dig a little to find the information you’re looking for.
